  1. We've just posted an interesting MacApp application, the Game of Life, to the
  2. MADA folder on the DSBB (DSBB->Mac Dev Tool Discussions->MacApp Discussion->
  3. MADA Folder).  The game is based on John Conway's mathematical simulation of
  4. the 60's, and is the first Macintosh application released by Jeffrey Stulin and
  5. Computer Software Consultants, Inc. of Chestnut Hill, MA.

  7. SOURCE CODE IS INCLUDED.

  9. In celebration of finishing their first Mac application, the game has been
  10. released as "PointOfLightWare" (ie, if you like it and keep it, please donate
  11. $20 to your favorite charity).  It may be shared with anyone and everyone,
  12. provided the "Read Me" files are kept with the game.  (Jeffrey has kindly
  13. promoted both MacApp and MADA in the "Read Me" file.)

  15. We have not reviewed the source code, but have played the game, and it appears
  16. to be a good implementation.  So, if you have the time to download it--it's
  17. yours.  (It is a .sit file of 238K.)
